Piru sat thinking about the biggest threats to his plans for interdimensional domination. When humans believe and have faith magic happens, a naturally occurring magic that was stronger than his own. The good news was this type of faith and belief was easily dispelled. Rodna was a perfect example of a dimension where he’d squashed the humans natural desire to believe in good things. Seila and the Shadows had done their job well in Rodna and he’d destroyed almost all of the resistance to his rule, simply by allowing the course of nature to happen. Wildfires, floods, earthquakes, snow storms and other normal fluctuations in weather and plate tectonics took its tole on a place and occurred in every dimension, sometimes simultaneously. In Rodna the Shadows under his rule methodically destroyed the do gooders. They’d driven a wedge between groups, vilified the teachers and the first responders that show up when bad things happened.
